WILMINGTON, N.C. – Senior Rosalyn Kim sits tied for 72nd place after the first day of competition at the 2010 NCAA Women's Golf Championships held at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
The Lady Raider finished the day with a 76 (4-over) as she heads into second round play tomorrow afternoon trailing the top spot by just nine strokes.
Arizona State's Jennifer Johnson, Purdue's Maude Aimee-LeBlance, and Southern California's Jennifer Song rank atop the leaderboard after day one while fellow Big 12 competitor, Caroline Hedwall of Oklahoma State, rounds out the top 10 tied for eighth place with six other individuals.
Second round play begins tomorrow morning while Kim will tee off in the afternoon session at 1:15 p.m. Live statistics of all three rounds can be followed daily at www.ncaa.com or www.golfstat.com while the third and fourth rounds (holes 16, 17 and 18) of the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships will be streamed live online at NCAA.com.
