City puts final touches on big S.W. Lbk road project

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) –  When it's done, a lot of Lubbock drivers will benefit.  But first city council wants to re-engineer part of the project.  We're talking about improvements to Milwaukee near 98th Street along with improvements to 98th between Milwaukee and Frankford, and then Frankford from 98th down to 114th.

Back in October the city made changes to the Milwaukee portion and so this week the city will hire Parkhill Smith And Cooper to draw up the final designs. It's a $3.7 million project.
