LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Police are still searching for answers in a weekend homicide. Marqus Jerome Lewis, 28, was found shot to death in the 5600 block of Grinnell Sunday morning.

Police responded to a call of shots fired around 6:00 a.m. When police got to the home, the apparent homicide was not the only illegal activity they found. Investigators found more than 40 marijuana plants inside the house.

Neighbors tell KCBD NewsChannel 11 that Lewis lived in the house with another man who found his body on Sunday morning. So far, no arrests have been made.

Police say they do not have any suspects at this time, but they continue to investigate.  If you know anything that could help police solve this case they ask you to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
