Man seriously hurt in afternoon motorcycle accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One man was seriously injured in a late afternoon motorcycle accident.

Thirty-eight year old William Gerald Williams was driving his motorcycle in the 5500 block of 9th Street when he hit a curb.

EMS transported him to University Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

Officials say Williams was not wearing a helmet.
