Holiday weekend outlook

LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- Thunderstorm chances pick up slightly for the remainder of the holiday weekend. While storm coverage will be spotty, any storms that do form will likely be strong, with a slight chance of severe weather including hail and high winds. Localized heavy rain will be possible. Remember, if you can hear thunder or see individual lightning flashes it is time to move indoors.

Sunday afternoon partly cloudy and hot, with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Gusty winds near storms. High temperature in the low 90s.

Tonight a slight chance of thunderstorms. Low in the mid 60s.

Memorial Day, Monday, a slight chance of thunderstorms. There is a slight risk of severe weather, mainly northern areas. Otherwise partly sunny and hot with an afternoon high in the low 90s.

Tuesday partly cloudy and hot with a high in the low to mid 90s.
