While attending MHS, Belinda Pacheco has been the Drum Major for the Mighty "M" Band for three years, she has participated in varsity track and cross country, she is a member of the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society, and she gives back to her community by being the president of the Student Community Action Club, being a member of the Muleshoe Youth Advisory Council, and being a peer tutor for the Language Acquisition Program. After high school, she plans to attend Texas Tech University and major in biochemistry. Upon receiving her undergraduate degree, it is her goal to continue her education until acquiring my PhD. Subsequently, it is her goal to pursue a career either as a medical researcher or as a professor for a university where, hopefully, one day she will be able to alter everyday living through research.
