SNYDER, TX (KCBD) - A gas explosion in Snyder had firefighters searching to see if anyone was trapped under a wall that was blown out.

The explosion happened at a duplex in the 2000 block of 26th Street around 7:00 a.m. Friday morning. The duplex then caught on fire. The case is under investigation and they are saying that it is suspicious.

Officials say that no one was inside at the time of the explosion. The city inspector says an emergency demolition has been carried out because the building was deemed unsafe.
