LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The suspect in a drive-by shooting is on the loose, and local law enforcement thinks he may travel through the Hub City.

At 6:15 p.m. Saturday police believe the suspect, 28-year-old Fredrick Shannon shot out his window as he drove down Avenue M in Levelland. DPS is looking for him, and they think he may be on his way to Fort Worth and could possibly drive through Lubbock County to get there.

Shannon is a Black male, 5'7'', and 220 pounds driving a 4-door 2007 Kia with tape on the passenger's side window,  The license plate is BL9-M525.

Authorities think Shannon is armed with a 25 caliber handgun, so if you see him you are urged to not approach him, but call local law enforcement instead.
