Motorcyclist to be laid to rest

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD)- A Lubbock motorcyclist killed in a suspect drunk driving accident will be laid to rest this week.

Rickey Parks 39, died last Thursday. Police say that Manuel Martinez ran a red light at 4th and Milwaukee and hit Parks' motorcycle. He is now being charged with intoxication manslaughter.

Visitation for Parks will be held from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at People's Fellowship Church, Located at 4308 58th street.
