The 6th Annual Healthy Lubbock Day is set for Saturday, June 5th

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – The 6th Annual Healthy Lubbock Day is Saturday morning at Maxey park.

Hosted by the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and the Garrison Institute on Aging, it's a free three-hour event to get the whole family involved in fun activities outside. There will also be free health screenings, immunizations, exercise demonstrations and several vendors available with health information. Prizes and goody-bags will be given to the first 200 people that attend.

The main idea is that family fun keeps you fit and healthy.

Again, Healthy Lubbock Day is from 9 a.m. to Noon at Maxey Park, located at 30th Street & Quaker Avenue.
