Multiple accidents on South Loop 289 bring traffic to a standstill Friday afternoon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – If you were driving eastbound on South Loop 289 late Friday afternoon, you may have noticed that traffic came to a standstill.

Lubbock Police tell KCBD NewsChannel 11 that there were four separate accidents along Loop 289 that halted traffic for a few miles. All the accidents happened in about an hour's time, but luckily no one was seriously injured.
