Murder suspect booked into Lubbock Co. Jail

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock murder suspect is now booked into the Lubbock County Jail. Authorities booked Charity Wilcots, 21 into the jail around 9:30 p.m. Friday.

Wilcots is charged with murder for the shooting death of Marcus Lewis, 28. Lewis was found dead on May 29th at his home near Erskine and North Frankford.

Wilcots turned herself in to authorities in New Mexico on Monday.

A police affidavit shows two other people, possibly juveniles, were at the crime scene with Wilcots.  They've spoken with one of the suspects, but investigators are still searching for the other.
