Lubbock woman arrested for DWI following accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Despite a ominous looking crash scene there were only minor injuries in a rollover early Sunday morning on Martin Luther King Blvd. and Cesar Chavez Drive.

Police say Margie Gonzales, 48, ran her vehicle into the back of a car, causing it to spin.  Gonzales then lost control of her truck. Witnesses say it flipped at least three times then landed up against a utility pole, nearly crashing into Kings Food & Gas.

Gonzales was arrested for driving while intoxicated and remained behind bars Sunday night.  Her passenger had minor injuries.
