The heat continues across the South Plains

LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- This afternoon will be partly cloudy and humid with a high in the upper 90s. Tonight skies are expected to be partly cloudy and temperatures will be warm. There is a slight chance of isolated storms over the far eastern and western viewing areas. Temperatures overnight will be in the upper 60s.

Skies are expected to be partly cloudy Thursday, with another hot and humid afternoon. Expected high temperatures will range from the upper 90s to near 100 degrees.

By the end of the work week high temperatures will be in the upper 90s to near 100 degrees, with partly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms late Friday.
