2nd Annual benefit concert "The Journey-2010" Saturday at Buffalo Springs Lake

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The 2nd Annual Benefit Concert "The Journey-2010" will be held on Saturday, June 12 starting at 10 a.m. This is a all day Christian Concert that will be held at Buffalo Springs Lake Amphitheater, benefiting Simple Acts Ministry (SAM).

SAM was founded to help those coming out of prison as well as those still in prison. Simple Acts is a Christ-centered, 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization created to provide love, hope, mentoring, discipleship, encouragement, and other assistance to prisoners and former prisoners to assist them to make the transition to the free world.

This is to a be an exciting and jam packed day with great music, worship, and friendship. Booths with food, drinks, and recreation for kids will be available.

Tickets are now on sale. General admission tickets are $15 (includes lake gate fee), and kids 12 and under are free. You can get your tickets at any of the following places:
