United Blood Services issues critical appeal for type O blood

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A cool deal for you could be a lifesaver for someone else.  United Blood Services has issued an urgent appeal for blood donations especially type O blood. 

Gandy's Dairy is making it more appealing to donors by offering a "Pint for a Pint."  Everyone that donates a pint of blood this week will go home with a pint of Gandy's ice cream. 

Walk-ins are welcome at UBS at 48th and University, or make your appointment online by going to BloodHero.com .
