LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- NewsChannel 11 is following a developing story from Wednesday night, five people were hospitalized with moderate injuries after an accident involving a gravel truck and a car.
Police say that two vehicles collided around 11:00 Wednesday night near the Super 8 Motel at 66th street and Interstate 27 in southeast Lubbock. The impact destroyed the front end of the car, the gravel truck also damaged the motel's fence before coming to a stop against a utility pole.
There is no word yet on what caused the accident.
