Travis Jacob Arguello-Son of Benny and Leslie Arguello. Travis has participated in football, basketball, track, FCA, FFA, National Honor Society, golf, year book staff, the school newspaper, class president and 2012 prom king. He is on the A Honor Roll and was a state qualifier in poultry judging. His honors in sports were: Football-All-District Newcomer of the Year, All-District Quarterback, All-District Safety, All-District Offensive MVP, All-Region Quarterback, All-Region Safety, All-Region Kicker, All-South Plains Quarterback, All-South Plains Safety, All-South Plains Kicker; Basketball-All-District Newcomer of the Year, All-District Offensive MVP, All-District MVP, 1st Team All-South Plains, 1st Team All-State, 1st Team All-Region; Track-2011 State Qualifier in Discus, 1st Place in District and Area in Discus, 2nd Place in Region and 3rd Place at 2012 State Meet. Travis is the salutatorian of the 2012 Senior Class. Travis is planning to attend Texas Tech University to earn a degree in mechanical engineering.
