The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is proposing an increase in fishing and hunting licenses across the state and boat registration would go up as well.
A super-combo license would increase from $49 to $59. Resident hunting and fishing licenses would go from $19 to $23. Boat registration would also increase ten dollars.
The increases allow the agency to continue providing basic services. But first, the department wants to hear from you. Texas Parks and Wildlife will hold a public hearing to discuss the proposed fees Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The meeting will be in the Commissioners Courtroom on the 5th floor of the Lubbock County Courthouse.
