LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – If you have Spaghetti O's in your pantry, you need to check the use by date because that food favorite among kids is facing a recall. The problem is undercooked meat. United was among supermarkets nationwide that pulled certain cans from their shelves today, specifically the 14.75 oz. cans of Spaghetti O's with meatballs.
"I got a phone call from our distribution center saying that we need to pull our Spaghetti O's with meatballs," said Codie Hair, Assistant Manager at United Supermarket. "The three varieties: O's, A to Z's and Cars, they could be potentially hazardous and to get them off the shelves as soon as possible."
So check your pantry, the recall includes Spaghetti O's marked with a 'use by' date between June 2010 and December 2011 with the plant code EST4K.
