LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – If the Lake Alan Henry project wasn't enough to keep city hall busy, the city will also build a new sewer treatment plant Northwest Lubbock.
The city is looking for engineering services on a facility that could release treated waste water into the Canyon Lake System. The city wants recommendations including a suggested site, which has not been selected yet according to public records. Cost of a new wastewater treatment plant has not been disclosed. The project is part of a greater master plan for Lubbock's aging sewer system.
