LUBBOCK, TX(KCBD)- It's here, the official start to Summer has arrived and the hot temperatures will defiantly be reflecting that. The official start was at 6:28 a.m.
This morning will be mostly fair and muggy with temperatures climbing into the 80s by 10 a.m. This afternoon will have partly cloudy skies and hot temperatures in the upper 90s. Skies will remain cloudy overnight with a low in the upper 20s.
Tuesday will be hot again with a high in the upper 90s to 100 degrees and skies will be mostly sunny.
High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 90s for Wednesday along with mostly sunny skies. There is a slight chance of late afternoon and evening thunderstorms near the TX-NM state line.
