4th on Broadway to sell beer during Saturday street fair

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – This year 4th on Broadway organizers have added a new beverage to the list that will be available during Saturday's Street Fair; beer. Organizers say they are adding the option during the event to hopefully raise money. They are working closely with the TABC to provide the option. There will be three cantinas opened near three of the nine music stages. You will be able to purchase beer inside the tents, but you will have to drink it there as well. You cannot take alcohol outside the cantina.

It's the largest free event in the state of Texas and president of 4th on Broadway Tracy Bacon says they want to keep it that way. "This event is not getting any cheaper to produce as prices have gone up for us we haven't had to go back to our corporate sponsors to ask for more money we've been trying to figure out ways to raise additional funds on the day of the event to help defray some of the costs," says Bacon.

The two day event starts Saturday, July 3rd and if you would like more information just click here.
