35th Anniversary celebration for Carillon Senior LifeCare Community

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Carillon Senior LifeCare Community marked its 35th anniversary Wednesday morning with a Rededication Ceremony.

Executive Director David Lewis helped host the event and presented several awards to organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce, for their involvement with Carillon.

The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce helped with the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the Rededication. Mayor Pro-tem Jim Gilbreath praised Carillon for their work in pioneering a modern retirement community that has advanced the quality of life for seniors over the past 35 years.

Lewis announced plans to expand the campus to accommodate more people for the years to come. Details on the expansion are in the works.

Thursday night the Carillon staff will continue celebrating their 35th anniversary by hosting the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. Drinks and food will be provided and door prizes will be given.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. and the public is invited to celebrate this event.
