City of Slaton worker injured in Wednesday morning rollover

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A City of Slaton worker is recovering after a Wednesday morning accident on the Slaton Highway.

It happened just before 8 a.m. in Slaton. Police say a black four-door car changed lanes in front of a City of Slaton pickup driven by Christopher Cantrell.

Cantrell swerved to avoid hitting the car, overcorrected, and rolled the pickup. EMS took him to University Medical Center where he is in satisfactory condition.
