The Lubbock Sheriff's Office is waiting for test results after two deputies were stuck with a needle during a drug arrest Thursday morning.
Sheriff's deputies and New Deal police officers arrested two people at FM 1294 and Detroit around 10 a.m. It's not known how much drugs were confiscated at this time. One of the men is charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia and the other was arrested on a parole violation.
The deputies were accidentally stuck with the needle while patting down the suspects for arrests. The Sheriff's Office says blood has been drawn as a health precaution for the officers.
