LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - One of many camps taking place this summer is the Texas Tech University College of Human Sciences Fashion Camp. This is the third year for the camp, which allows campers between the ages of 11 to 18 to participate in many activities.
Some of these activities include: sewing, modeling, visual merchandising, brand design, fashion illustration, and skin care. According to the camp's Web site, the campers will also experience creating their own collection, and gain knowledge of the fashion industry.
Friday, June 25th at 7 p.m. the camp will end its first session with a fashion show, and reception at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion.
The camps are directed by hospitality, and retailing graduate students. The second session of the camp will take place June 28th through July 2nd.
