Bees or wasps lead to emergency response

James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A situation with either bees or wasps was bad enough late Friday evening that Lubbock Firefighters were called in.  KCBD NewsChannel 11 viewer Stacy Esquibel posted images and information to senditto11.com.

Firefighters sprayed a hive with foam in the 4900 block of 35th. Firefighters reported that there were no serious injuries and EMS was not needed.  Esquibel reports in the photo captions that Lubbock Animal Control and a pest control company were also called out.

NewsChannel11 wants to thank Stacy Esquibel for sharing the photos. If you see something that you think is newsworthy, please feel free to snap a photo and post it on senditto11.com.  Even if we don't use it on the air, other folks visiting the website will be able to see it.
