LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Before a two mile stretch of 34th Street gets torn to shreds and rebuilt from scratch, the city and its contractor want to talk to you about it. Construction on 34th Between Indiana and Avenue Q. is scheduled to start next year and eventually at some point in the future the city would like to extend the reconstruction east to Interstate 27 and west to Slide. But first there's an all out effort to get motorists and businesses prepared.
There will be four public meetings each starting at 6:00 PM
