Three injured after 15 person brawl erupts in Lubbock park

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Police Department is investigating a fight between two people that turned into a fifteen person brawl that left three injured.

The fight started just before midnight on Saturday in Leftwich Park at 6200 Elgin. The police report states that 15 people showed up at the park so two of them could settle a disagreement. While the two were fighting, the rest of the group began to fight each other.

The report also states that two adult men were cut in the shoulder and upper arm. One female was punched in the side of the head, possibly with either brass knuckles or another unknown weapon. None of the injuries were life threatening.

According to the police report, no arrests were made. KCBD NewsChannel 11 is continuing to follow this story and will bring you the details as they become available.

We're also hearing emergency crews received several calls from people nearby who are worried the fire could spread to their homes. There is heavy damage to the outside of the building.
