The search for one Terry County escapee ends

BROWNFIELD, TX (KCBD) – The search continues for one of the two inmates that escaped from the Terry County Jail in Brownfield on Monday morning. 

Cornelio Zepeda Delgado, 23, from Levelland surrendered to the Terry County Jail early Tuesday morning.

David Lee Rodriguez, 35, from Brownfield remains at large. Rodriguez is charged with attempted murder and assault causing bodily injury to a 12-year-old girl, an incident that happened on May 23rd. He is considered dangerous.

The inmates escaped early Monday morning through an air conditioning vent, into the ceiling and out through a plumbing closet.
