Afternoon Wreck Backs Up Traffic - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Just minutes before 5:00 p.m. Sunday, there was a wreck on the I-27 south bound lane just before the 34th St. exit.

According to witnesses, two cars traveling south collided when one was trying to change lanes. The impact sent one car through the guard rail into the median of I-27. There were no injuries, but traffic was forced down to one lane, backing up the interstate for miles.
