LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - With all this rain, one Fourth of July staple is coming up all wet.
Local fireworks vendors say they haven't seen quite the profit that they've seen around Independence Day in the past.
Operator of TNT Fireworks, Jinks White, says there is only a ten day window in which you can buy fireworks, but you can shoot them anytime. He hopes that's what people do.
"We're hoping people will buy their fireworks and when the weather clears they'll be able to go out and celebrate," says White.
You can buy fireworks through Sunday. But remember, it is illegal to have or shoot fireworks inside the city limits.
