LITTLEFIELD, TX (KCBD) - Late Sunday, Littlefield police released the name of the man who died in an apartment fire Friday afternoon at 4th and LFD Drive.
The victim has been identified as Darren Urban. Firefighters from Littlefield, Sudan, and Amherst battled the blaze all Friday afternoon and evening. Levelland firefighters came in to assist at 9:45 p.m. and the apartment was still very much on fire.
Red Cross assisted eight adults and one child who were left homeless after the fire.
