LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – A new study shows that distracted driving is not just a big problem among teenagers, but another is scoring high on texting behind the wheel, moms.
A survey of almost 600 mothers circulated by Bohan Advertising found that nearly half the moms admitted to reading or responding to a text message while driving with their kids in the car. Experts say this is dangerous not just because of the increased risk for accidents, but also because it exposes kids to a bad habit.
