Little boy recovering after tumble from moving car

By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock toddler is recovering after falling out of a moving vehicle along the 4500 block of Slide Road.

The incident happened about 1:15 Friday afternoon. Police have not released names but they do say no citations will be issued. Police say it appears the 23-month-old boy unbuckled himself. From there it's not clear how he fell out of the car.

The toddler was taken to Covenant Children's Hospital with injuries that are serious but not believed to be life threatening. It was estimated that the boy fell out while the vehicle was going 30 to 35 miles per hour.
