LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A former Texas Tech University athlete and Smyer native remained in critical condition Saturday night, following a motorcycle crash in north Lubbock. Police say Blake Brazil, 22 lost control of the bike just after 12:00 a.m. Saturday near Itasca and North Salem.
EMS rushed Brazil to the hospital. Police could not say whether brazil was wearing a helmet.
Brazil was a member of the Tech track team, and before that, a stand-out athlete for Anton High School. We'll keep you updated on any changes to his condition.
