LISD School's Take a Different Approach To Learning

Students got a taste of what it's like be a teacher at J. T. Hutchinson Junior High Wednesday. It is part of the school's celebration of teacher's and the hard work they do. The kids worked closely with their teachers to prepare for the day's work. The students also helped out the principal, assistant principals and counselors. The day ended with an assembly to recognize the value of teachers.

Meanwhile at Monterey High School, students took a unique approach to learning. They posed as wax figures in a wax museum. Some of the people they posed as were Cher, Reba McIntyre, Jim Carrey and the Spice Girls. As other students came around to look at them, each posing student had to give a short biography of their character.
