LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Jerry Gray Foundation Scholarship Golf Tournament and Sports Collectibles Auction begins Monday afternoon.  Heavy rains at Lakeridge Country Club have moved the tournament to Meadowbrook Golf Course at 601 Municipal Drive.

Money raised from the tournament and auction provide Estacado High School students with scholarships to Texas Tech University.  Gray is an EHS football star, NFL All-Pro, and now he is defensive back coach with the Seattle Seahawks.

This year's tournament is a 4-person scramble and will begin with a shot-gun start at 1 p.m. Lunch and range balls for practice will be available at 11:45 am.  Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place teams.

The sports collectibles auction will begin immediately after the golf tournament is complete, but no later than 6:00 PM.  Items to be auctioned this year are truly incredible. Featured items include football jerseys autographed by Payton Manning, Drew Brees, Donavan McNabb and Brett Farve. A football autographed by 2010 Super Bowl Champions the New Orleans Saints will be awarded to the highest bidder.  (Click Here) for a look at some of the items up for auction.
