Weekend shooting in Northeast Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock police are looking into a shooting at Popa Dominoes and Pool Hall on Idalou Road.

The shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. Sunday. When police arrived, they found 36-year-old Richard Essix with several gunshot wounds to his torso.

EMS took him to University Medical Center but his condition is currently unavailable at the family's request.
