WHITE RIVER LAKE (KCBD) - As we've been telling you, we have had several reports of people seeing rattlesnakes recently.
KCBD NewsChannel 11's Michael Slother was gathering information on another story at White River Lake when he came across a rattlesnake.
Michael kept his distance, and that is what authorities urge you to do if you come across one. The heavy rains seem to have brought them out into the open as they seek dry land.
Remember, if you are bitten, you need to get to a hospital immediately and be treated with anti-venom within four hours.
