LUBBOCK,TX(KCBD)- A cat attacked by two stray dogs in central Lubbock last Wednesday has died.
The dogs also injures 83-year-old Sam Winfield as she tried to protect her cat. Despite undergoing emergency surgery, Mrs. Winfield says her cat died on Saturday.
Now, she is trying to find the dogs because she may have to get rabies shots if they are not found.
The first dog is described as large brindle colored Pitbull-Boxer mix, the second is a smaller white Pitbull with black spots on her shoulder. She may be nursing puppies.
