Lubbock non-profit's insurance company doesn't cover flood damage

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The July 4th weekend rains collapsed part of the Children's Advocacy Center's roof and we have learned that their insurance policy does not cover the damage.

The center now needs to come up with $60,000 for repairs. They are asking for the public's help. If you would like to donate, you can do so at any branch of First Bank and Trust.

A local non-profit is trying to figure out how to pay for damage caused by the flooding. Roof damage at the Children's Advocacy Center in Lubbock could cost between $40,000 and $80,000.
