LPD seeks purse thief

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police ask for your help to find the man whole stole a woman's purse from Wal-Mart.  Surveillance captured the suspect taking the purse back on July 14th at the Wal-Mart at 4th Street and the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police say the owner accidentally left it in her shopping cart around 11:30 p.m., and the suspect took the purse, which is black with a Tech logo on it, and then left.

The suspect is described as a white man, 17 to 27 years old.  He stands 5'6" to 6'2" and weighs between 170 and 180 lbs.  He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing black shorts, a red t-shirt, and white tennis shoes.  If you know how to identify the suspect, call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
