LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – From trash to treasures, your garage sale items could make a big difference in the lives of many if you'd like to donate your stuff to the Pilot Club.  The organization is having a huge garage sale Saturday to help fund programs like Project Lifesaver, which provides tracking bracelets to patients with autism or dementia.

Also, some of the proceeds will go to High Point Village, an activity center for the disabled, which is where your garage sale items can be dropped off.

"If you have something in your home and you just think, 'Oh, I don't need this anymore, but it's just too good to throw away,' somebody needs it, yes we would take that, you can bring it by," said Sharon Miller, the Pilot Club President-Elect.

"What we would like is people to come out here and just shop shop shop shop because there is, there's something for everyone."

The garage sale is set for Saturday from 8 to 3 at High Point Village, which is at slide and 109th St.
