A man is recovering from burns after his semi truck collided with another semi over the weekend.
The accident happened around 1:30, Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Clovis Highway and Frankford Avenue. A milk truck was stopped at the intersection, when a semi slammed into it from behind. The cab of the second truck burst into flames. The driver of the milk truck tried to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher.
The driver of the semi, Gary Roark, escaped through a window but suffered burns to most of his upper body. He is now in satisfactory condition.
Firefighters from West Carlisle were eventually able to put the fire out. The driver of the milk truck was not injured.
