LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock City officials expressed their gratitude in Thursday morning's City Council meeting, to those who went above and beyond the call of duty during the recent floods.
However, the cleanup is still not over. The city can no longer accept damage reports. FEMA has now finished their survey and will turn over the report to Governor Perry.
Perry then must ask President Obama for a disaster declaration to qualify for federal assistance.
