LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The city promises progress next week in another construction hot spot.
Concrete paving operations on the west side of University Avenue between South Loop 289 and 82nd Street will take place next week.
Allen Butler Construction is expected to start at 7 p.m. and work through the night until 4 a.m. both Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Traffic will continue to flow with one lane in each direction and a center left turn lane during the work. Access to area businesses will remain open.
