LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -This week Commissioners with the TCEQ or Texas Commission On Environmental Quality take up four local businesses and two local individuals.
United Supermarkets at 8010 Frankford Avenue will be fined $1,750 for fuel tank violations. Hi-Performance Fuels in Lockney, 66 Wholesale in Ralls, and Dynamic Food Corporation in Lubbock all pay the same $1,750 fine for the same violations, namely not having the proper certificates to receive petroleum fuel. Each of the four agreed to voluntarily pay the fines.
Rodney Hughes of Lubbock and Aunie Sellers of Ralls were both fined $210 for doing public water supply work without the proper licenses. The local items officially go to the Commissioners for approval on Wednesday.
