County employees could see a pay raise in the future

LUBBOCK,TX(KCBD)- Employees that work for Lubbock County could be getting a 3.14 percent raise starting next month.

Lubbock County commissioners discussed a proposal in Monday morning's meeting that would give all county employees, including elected officials, a 3.14 percent raise.

It would be the first raise for county employees in two year, and the first for elected officials in three years.

Commissioners will vote on the proposal on August 16th.
